Guided On/Off Road Tour - Cape Town to Namibia
Guided On/Off Road - Cape Town to Namibia 13 days

Running from Cape Town to Windhoek through mountains, desert and farming communities, this tour takes in some of the most contrasting landscapes in Southern Africa.

From the Cape Metropolis we ride along winding coastal roads through lush Landscapes into the Cape Winelands. We will traverse the Rooibos planting areas in the Cederberg and the dry arid Northern Cape and Namaqualand. Crossing into Namibia you will find yourself marveling at the Fish River Canyon and have a chance to relax in the hot springs. From here we will tackle the colourful dunes in the oldest desert of the world, the Namib and Sossusvlei. Then it's on to Windhoek the old german colonial capital of Namibia.

This tour can be done at any time of the year, however the time from April to September are best to travel through Namibia as daytime temperatures are more bearable and it is the dry season. From July to September there is a chance to see the desert in flower in Namaqualand as well as seeing whales along the coast. Due to the fact that most of the interesting routes are dirt roads this tour can only be done on dual-purpose motorcycles.
